2003 Syrah - Private Reserve

This is our first Syrah to be designated "Private Reserve". The 2003 vintage is 100% Syrah from Bacchus Vineyard. The fruit is sourced from specially selected rows within the vineyard. The vines are then cropped at lower tonnages per acre, resulting in smaller berries and a higher level of concentration. The wine is is aged longer than our regular bottlings in exclusively French oak barrels of the highest quality. We also allow more time in the bottle prior to its release. Deep rich purple in the glass showcasing aromas and flavors of blackberry, plum and spice. The tannins are smooth contributing to a long and elegeant finish. This wine is drinking beautifully now and will only get better with age. So enjoy a bottle now or years from now, either way it is sure to please the most sophisticaed palate. Family favorites include prime rib, and rotisserie chicken. Available only at the winery / website
